After you disable JavaScript and VBscript in the compatibility options, you may still able to insert custom scripts into pages in FrontPage.

Although JavaScript and VBscript are disabled in the Compatibility options, FrontPage will still preserve modifications that you have made in your source code.

There are three major ways to directly edit (or add to) the source code:

1.	Use the HTML view.
2.	Use the Microsoft Script Editor. -and-
3.	On the Insert menu, point to Advanced, and click HTML.

If you use any of these methods, you can manually type or add to the source code for the page. If you add any type of script, this information will be preserved in the page.

The compatibility boxes do not apply to any code that you have typed using any of the previously mentioned methods.

The primary objective of the compatibility boxes is to prevent FrontPage from using the technology in the code that it writes. The compatibility boxes do not apply to the code that is manually inserted.
