SYMPTOMS

Audio Video Interleaved (AVI) movie controls are not displayed in Internet Explorer 4.0 or later. This occurs even if the Show Controls in Browser check box is select in FrontPage.

CAUSE

Internet Explorer 4 and Internet Explorer 5 do not support the use of the AVI movie controls.

MORE INFORMATION

FrontPage retains the option to choose if you would like to use controls for the backward compatibility of browsers. The controls will function if you use a browser that supports the functionality of the controls, such as Internet Explorer 3.
