FP2000: ActiveMovie Control is not Resizable After Changing the Control's Parameters

SYMPTOMS

If you have added a border to an ActiveMovie control and changed a parameter value of the control, you are not able to resize the control on your page.

CAUSE

The ActiveMovie control has difficulty resizing if it has a border and its parameter values have been modified.

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.

MORE INFORMATION

To work around this behavior, follow these steps:

1.On the Insert menu, point to Advanced, and click ActiveX control.
2.Select the Active Movie Control, and click OK.
3.Select the ActiveMovie control, and resize it to the desired height and width.
4.When you are finished sizing the object, you may add a border to the control and change the necessary parameters.
