FP2000: Banner Ad Appears as Gray Box

SYMPTOMS

When you preview some pages that contain banner ads on a disk based web, some banners may appear as gray boxes, and no images appear.

When you position your pointer over the gray box, Internet Explorer does not show any errors in the page.

CAUSE

Either the images, web name, or folder that contains the images has a space or percentage sign (%) in the name.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
1.Open the web that contains the banner ads.
2.On the View menu, click Folders.
3.Right-click the image with a space or percentage sign, and click Rename.
4.Type a new name for the image (Example: Image1.gif), and press Enter.
5.Repeat steps three and four for each folder that contains a space or percentage sign in its name.
