When you use Microsoft Access to create a field with the text box property in a Data Access Page and then open the page in FrontPage 2000, the text box is converted to a scrolling text box.

When creating the Data Access Page, Microsoft Access inserts a TEXTAREA tag for the text box. Microsoft FrontPage 2000 renders the TEXTAREA tag as a scrolling text box.

When you open an Office document in FrontPage, allow the originating application to open it.
To do this, follow these steps:
| 1. | On the Tools menu, click Options. |
| 2. | In the Options dialog box, click the General tab. |
| 3. | In the Startup section, select the Check if Office is the default editor for pages created in Office check box.
