SYMPTOMS

The Convlog.exe file that is included with Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS) 3.0 incorrectly converts dates after the year 2000.

CAUSE

A function that converted the date string to an integer contains a logic error.

RESOLUTION

Windows NT Server or Workstation 4.0, and Internet Information Server

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Windows NT 4.0, Terminal Server Edition. For more information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
