When an you run an upgrade compatibility test (such as the test that is run by Upgrade Advisor or by using the winnt32.exe /checkupgradeonly command) on your computer, you may receive a report that indicates that your Chameleon Audio/Modem ComboCard is incompatible hardware. The three components of your Chameleon device that are reported as being incompatible are the Conexant SoftK56 modem, the Riptide PCI legacy audio device, and the Riptide virtual gameport. These components are listed in the Upgrade Advisor dialog box under Hardware That Might Need Additional Files, or in the Upgrade.txt file that is created if you click Save As on the bottom of the Upgrade Advisor dialog box. The components for these devices appear in the "Modem" and "Sound, video and game controllers" sections of the Upgrade.txt file. The following examples show how this information is displayed.
