Movie Troubleshooter

You can play your movie in PowerPoint, but it does not sound right.
If the sound is not playing properly in your movie during your slide show, it may be because more than one sound is set to play at the same time, or that too many other animations or events are occurring while the movie is playing. Try the following test:

Start a new, blank presentation in Microsoft PowerPoint.

Insert your movie into the new blank presentation.
On the Insert menu, point to Movies and Sounds, and
then click Movie from File.

Navigate to your movie file, click to select it, and then insert it.

View the slide show.
If the movie plays in the new presentation, try to reduce the number of events that occur on the slide where the movie plays; for example, reduce the number of animations, other sound events, and so on.
