FIX: A Visual Basic script that uses the OLE DB Provider for DB2 in Host Integration Server 2010 fails with error message "SQLCODE: 80"

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:
  • You use the Microsoft OLE DB Provider for DB2 that is included in Microsoft Host Integration Server 2010.
  • You run a Microsoft Visual Basic script that uses the OLE DB Provider for DB2.
  • The script uses parameters that are also used in an SQL statement.

In this scenario, the script fails, and you receive the following error message:
DRDA AR message: Error Code: 80, Severity: Error, SQLCODE: 80.
