- You configure a Host Initiated Processing (HIP) security policy to use Host-initiated Single Sign-on as the source of user credentials to start the server application.
- You create a HIP service and specify the Windows credentials, such as domain_name\HIP_Service, under which the Windows service is to run.
In this scenario, the HIP service uses the Windows credentials to start the server application instead of the user credentials that are obtained from the Enterprise Single Sign-On (ENTSSO) database.
