Description of the Outlook 2010 hotfix package (outlookintl-ko-kr.msp): June 28, 2011

This article describes the Microsoft Outlook 2010 issue that is fixed in the hotfix package that is dated June 28, 2011.

Issue that this hotfix package fixes

Consider the following scenario:
  • You open the tasks lists in a Microsoft SharePoint 2010 site.
  • You click the Add new item button to create a new SharePoint task.
  • You open Outlook 2010 that is configured to use Korean, and that also connects to the SharePoint 2010 site.
  • You click Folder List.
  • You click SharePoint Lists, and then click <your user name> - Tasks to see the tasks.
In this scenario, the field name of the "우선 순위"(Custom Priority) data on the SharePoint Lists folder incorrectly displays "담당자"(Assigned To).

  • Even though the field name is incorrect, the data is displayed correctly in the Server Tasks view.
  • If you open the task by double-clicking the server task, the field name displays correctly as "우선 순위" in the detailed information page.
