When you try to create a new MAPI form in Outlook 2003, you receive the following error message:
When you try to open a custom form from a published location such as Organizational Form Library, you receive the following error message:
When you try to open a received custom form e-mail item, you receive the following error message:
To have us fix these problems for you, go to the "Fix it for me" section. If you prefer to fix this problem yourself, go to the "Let me fix it myself" section.
Fix this problemlink. Click
File Downloaddialog box, and then follow the steps in the Fix it wizard.
Note This wizard may be in English only; however, the automatic fix also works for other language versions of Windows.
Note If you are not on the computer that has the problem, you can save the automatic fix to a flash drive or to a CD, and then you can run it on the computer that has the problem.
Next, go to the "Did this fix the problem?" section.
To fix these issues, enable MAPI forms. To do this, follow these steps.
- Click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then click
- Locate and then click the following registry subkey: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Outlook\Forms\
- Double-click the EnableMapiForms registry entry, type
1 in the Value data text box, and then click OK.
Note If this registry path does not exist, create a new dWord-Value registry entry, name it EnableMapiForms, and give it the value of 1.
