FIX: A BizTalk Server Group Hub page takes a long time to refresh after one node goes offline in a BizTalk 2009 & BizTalk Server 2006 R2 host clustering environment

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:

  • You install Microsoft BizTalk 2009 or Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006 R2 on a two-node Windows Server failover cluster. Additionally, you configure a BizTalk host as a cluster resource.
  • One node of the cluster goes offline because the node is powered off or because the network connection is lost.
  • You try to refresh the BizTalk Server Group Hub page in the BizTalk Server Administration console.
