Description of the Word 2007 hotfix package (Wordconv-x-none.msp, Word-x-none.msp): October 30, 2012

This article describes the issues that are fixed in the Microsoft Office Word 2007 hotfix package that is dated October 30, 2012.

Issue that this hotfix package fixes

  • Assume that you use tab leaders in a right-to-left (RTL) text run in a Word 2007 document. When you export the document as a PDF or .xps file, some characters in the document are displayed incorrectly.
    BUG #: 33959 (OfficeQFE)
  • Assume that a document in Word 2007 has multiple pages, and a horizontal line is displayed at the bottom of each page. Additionally, assume that you configure the size of the paper for a print operation by using the Force Landscape option in the Track Changes feature. When you print the document, the content on the pages after the first page is truncated.
    BUG #: 34107 (OfficeQFE)
  • When you drag an attachment to a Microsoft Outlook 2007 email message, the file name extension of the attachment is duplicated. Then, when you drag the attachment from the email message to another email message, the file name extension appears in triplicate. This pattern continues as you drag the attachment to other email messages.

Note Outlook 2007 uses Word 2007 as a rendering and composition engine.
