- Click Start and then click Run.
- In the Open box, type Regedit and then click OK.
- Look for the following key in the registry:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\DataAccess\FullInstallVerIf the key is located in the registry, MDAC is installed.
