Runtime Error 3051 in FRx

SYMPTOMS

Error - "Runtime Error 3051. The Microsoft Jet database engine cannot open the file. It is already opened exclusively by another user, or you need permission to view its data" occurs when trying to import a .tdb file into your specification set.

RESOLUTION

Check to make sure the file is not marked as Read-only. Also, try to copy the .tdb file into the FRx\IO_Data directory and then import the file. This should reset the IO_Data directory path in the file and allow it to be imported.
