Download Microsoft Authenticator in China

To install Authenticator on your Android device
The Google Play Store isn't available in China, so Microsoft Authenticator can only be downloaded from the following stores:

Authentication methods in China
Only limited authentication methods are available in China.
Instead of using push notifications for two-step verification, users can set up Authenticator to receive verification codes on their device that they can use to verify their identity. These verification codes are valid for 30 seconds.
Note
To use verification codes with a work or school account, your IT admin must enable Microsoft Authenticator under the Authentication Methods blade. The verification code method is enabled in the Authentication methods policy, as described in Software OATH tokens.

How to add Authenticator as a sign-in method
Important
