Symptoms

After you install Microsoft Dynamics SL 2011 and SQL Server 2008 on the same computer, the SQL Server Agent doesn't start. You may also see the following error message:

SQLServer Error: 160, Specified driver could not be loaded due to system error 193: (SQL Server Native Client 10.0, C:\Windows\SysWOW64\sqlncli10.dll). [SQLSTATE IM003]

Download and install the 64-bit SQL Server Native Client.

The issue doesn't occur with earlier versions of Microsoft Dynamics SL. The issue also doesn't occur with SQL Server 2008 R2.
