I can't sign in to my Microsoft account
How you resolve signing into your Microsoft account depends on the type of issue preventing you from signing in. Scroll down to see other scenarios.
I've forgotten my Microsoft account password
If you forgot your Microsoft account password, follow these steps.

Select Reset password below.
Reset password -
Enter the email address, phone number, or Skype name you use to sign in then select Next.

We'll ask where you'd like to get your verification code and select Next.

Type the requested information and select Send code.

Type the security code into Verify your identity, then select Next.

Enter and confirm your new password.

Account locked
If you get a message from Microsoft that says your account is locked, use our automated self-help to help you unlock your account, and connect you to a support agent if necessary.
Account doesn't exist
If you have forgotten your username, or you get a message from Microsoft that says that account doesn't exist, use our automated self-help to help you recover your username, and connect you to a support agent if necessary.
