Use this guide to understand older Clipchamp plans, check charges, and find the right place to manage a subscription. For purchases billed by Microsoft, sign in with the personal Microsoft account you used to buy the subscription.
Important
This article applies to Clipchamp for personal accounts. For Clipchamp with a work or school account, see How to access Microsoft Clipchamp with your work or school account.
Before you buy or manage a subscription
Clipchamp's legacy Creator, Business, and Business Platinum plans have been retired. For current options, see Clipchamp personal plan benefits.
- Sign in to Clipchamp with a personal Microsoft account.
- If your Microsoft 365 subscription includes the premium Clipchamp features you need, sign in with the Microsoft account that has those benefits. You don't need a separate Clipchamp subscription for those features.
- If you also have a standalone Clipchamp Premium subscription, starting a Microsoft 365 subscription doesn't automatically cancel it. Check both subscriptions to avoid paying for overlapping benefits.
Manage your subscription
Sign in to Services & subscriptions with the personal Microsoft account you used to buy your subscription. Check for a standalone Clipchamp subscription as well as any Microsoft 365 subscription that provides your Clipchamp benefits.
To view receipts, update payment methods, or change your billing period, see How to purchase and manage a Clipchamp personal subscription. If someone shared a Microsoft 365 subscription with you, the subscription owner manages its billing.
Note
If Apple, Google Play, or another retailer bills your subscription, contact that provider to manage it.
Cancel your Clipchamp subscription
You can stop future payments without deleting your Clipchamp account. Follow How to cancel a Clipchamp paid subscription to choose between stopping renewal and canceling, or to find a subscription that isn't listed. Check when your benefits will end before confirming.
Important
If your Clipchamp benefits come through Microsoft 365, canceling that plan affects the whole subscription and people you share it with, not just Clipchamp. Your OneDrive storage allowance can decrease. Check your storage before you continue. If you exceed the remaining allowance, you might not be able to upload, edit, or sync files. See Canceling Microsoft 365.
Refunds — how they work and how to request one
Not every cancellation qualifies for a refund. See the refund guidance in the cancellation article for where to check eligibility and which provider to contact. The checks below can help you identify a charge before you decide what to do.
Understand your charges
- Why was I charged? A charge might be an initial purchase or a renewal. Check the amount and date in Order history. If you don't recognize it, see How to investigate a billing charge from Microsoft.
- Which account was charged? Check your receipt and the subscriptions in the personal Microsoft account you used for the purchase.
- When is my renewal date? Open your subscription in Services & subscriptions to see its renewal or expiry date.
- How do I stop future charges? Follow the cancellation or recurring billing steps.
- What happens after cancellation? See What happens if I downgrade? for how the end of paid benefits affects editing and exporting.
- Where are receipts? Follow the receipt and invoice steps.
Premium purchase and entitlement help
- If you paid but don't see your premium features, follow the account and subscription checks before buying again. These checks show how to review shared benefits, switch accounts safely, and get help if you still can't use premium features.
- If you can't find your existing projects, follow the missing-project checks.
- For billing, cancellation, or refund questions, contact Microsoft support or the provider that bills your subscription.
