Whether you’re driving, walking, or taking the bus, Maps for Windows 10 Mobile gets you there. See alternate routes, get turn-by-turn directions, or download maps to use offline.
Keep your eyes on the road while Maps guides you out loud.
Choose a different transportation mode if you like—for example, Walking .
Select Route options to avoid things like tolls or traffic while driving, or to limit transfers or walking while using transit.
Type an address, city, or business name in the To box, and then select from the results that appear as you type.
To see the directions in a list, drag the move handle up. To hear step-by-step directions as you travel, select Go
For driving and transit directions, you can sometimes select from several alternate routes.
On the road without dependable Internet access? Download maps over Wi-Fi before you go, then use the Maps app to search and get directions, even when you’re offline.
Select Download maps, and then choose the region you want to download.
To save space on your phone, save your offline maps to an SD card. In Settings > System > Offline maps , select the name of your SD card from the options under Storage location.
