  • Surface Laptop models and Surface Pro X have no built-in SD card reader.
  • Surface Pro (4, 5, 6, and 7) and Surface Go have a microSD card interface capable of reading and writing SDXC cards with UHS-I read/write speeds.
  • Surface Studio and Surface Studio 2 have a full-size SD card interface capable of reading and writing SDXC cards with UHS-I read/write speeds.
  • Surface Book and Surface Book 2 have a full-size SD card interface capable of reading and writing SDXC cards with both UHS-I and UHS-II read/write speeds.
