FIX: DRDA Service doesn't process SQL SELECT statements containing spaces between multi-part object identifiers

Symptoms


DRDA Service doesn't process SQL SELECT statements that contain spaces between multi-part object identifiers. In addition, you receive the following error:
"Failedto process DSCSQLSTT. Object reference not set to an instance of an object."

Status


Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section. 

Resolution


This issue is fixed in the following cumulative update for Host Integration Server:
