How to create a Microsoft Great Plains Extender Lookup Content provided by Microsoft INTRODUCTION In Microsoft Business Solutions - Great Plains, you can create a Microsoft Great Plains Extender Lookup so that a user can open a Microsoft Great Plains Lookup from an Extender Window. If you have clicked Lookup in the Field Type list in the Extender Window, you can select the Extender Lookup that you created. This lookup does not have to be the same form that is used for the Extender Window. MORE INFORMATION For example, you create an Extender Lookup that is based on the Account Master table. This lookup can be accessed by an Extender Window that is based on the Item Quantities Maintenance form.The following steps describe an example of an Extender Lookup. This example will create an Extender Lookup that accesses the Account Master table. The Extender Lookup will display the Account Description data and return the value to a field.The following steps refer to Fabrikam, Inc. Fabrikam is the fictitious company that is used for demonstration purposes in Microsoft Great Plains. 1. On the Tools menu, click Extender , and then click Extender . 2. In the Extender dialog box, click Lookups , and then click New . 3.
