Microsoft Edge allows you to browse the web in your preferred language. You can quickly add multiple languages, manage language preferences, and customize your Microsoft Edge browsing experience. This article explains how to change language settings in Microsoft Edge for better accessibility and personalized web browsing.

The new Microsoft Edge  defaults to use the same language as your system. 

To change the language:

  1. Go to Settings and more > Settings .

  2. Select Languages from the Settings menu.

  3. To add a language to the list of Preferred languages, select Add languages.

  4. Once the language is added, select  next to the language, and then choose Display Microsoft Edge in this language.
