Conditional formatting provides visual cues to help you quickly make sense of your data. 

Note: The instructions below match the video, which shows only one of the many ways to use conditional formatting. To learn more, see Use conditional formatting to highlight information.

  1. Select the cells.

  2. Select Home Conditional Formatting > Top/Bottom Rules > Top 10 Items.

  3. Choose how many values you want highlighted.

  4. Select a format.

  5. Select OK.
