Outlook for Microsoft 365 New Outlook for Windows

These steps are for adding Exchange or Microsoft 365 based email to classic Outlook for Windows. For Pop or IMAP based mail like GMail, see Add a Gmail account to Outlook for Windows.

  1. On the File tab, select Info, choose Account Settings and then Account Settings.

  2. On the Email tab, under Name, select a mailbox from the list and then choose Change > More Settings.

  3. Select Advanced, then select Add. Enter the mailbox to add (such as info@contoso.com) and select OK, and OK again. 

  4. Select Next > Done > Close.
