Add a new line in a chat

The default action when you press Enter is to send a message. Here's how to add a blank line instead.

• To add a line feed in the middle or end of a message, press Ctrl+Enter.

There are conditions where Enter doesn't send: 

• When creating a bulleted or numbered list, Enter will add another bullet or number. To exit the list, press Enter, and Enter again to add a blank line and send, or select Send in the lower right corner.

• When you're using the text Format window, pressing Enter insert a new line. To exit and send, select Send in the lower right corner. You can also press   Format to exit, and press Enter to send.
