Select the cells or range of cells to add borders.

On the Home tab, select
 Borders, and choose from the following:Â-
Select a predefined border such as
 All borders. -
Select
 Draw Border or  Draw Border Grid and drag your cursor to add borders. -
Select
 More Borders to create custom borders. -
To erase all or some borders, selectÂ
 Erase Border and drag the cursor over the areas to erase. -
Choose
 Line Color or Line Style to change line color or line type and thickness.Â
