For the message list, new Outlookâââââââ for Windows doesn't have the same column-changing feature that classic Outlook has, but you can modify the layout, and you can filter and sort the list in various ways.Â
Layout
-
On the View tab, select View settings.
-
                          Select Mail > Layout.
-
Under Message list format, select which column should come first.
-
You can also turn on or turn off inline attachment previews and date headers.
Sort
-
Near the top right of the message list, select Filter.
-
Use a filter to hide items that don't fit your criteria, or sort to rearrange the full list.
