Facing conflicts in meetings between your personal calendar and Bookings with me appointments? Don't worry. Consider following the steps in this article and you are all set!

What is the reason?

Sometimes, the Bookings with me page displays users as available even when their calendar is already booked for the day. The reason behind this is, when you create an all-day event, your status defaults to Free. So, Bookings with me consider you as available since you are free.

Troubleshooting the issue

To check if you are having any conflicts in your meetings, follow the steps below.

Access your calendar page

  1. Go to https://outlook.office.com/calendar.

  2. Check your appointments. If you see any meetings are coinciding like the image below, proceed to the next step.

Access your Bookings with me available slots

  1. Open your Bookings with me page by going to https://outlook.office.com/bookwithme/.

  2. Click on the three dots in one of your meeting types.

  3. Select Copy link to copy your calendar link and paste it in the browser.

If you notice that slots are available, even after having all-day meetings, like the image below, proceed to the next step.

Change how an appointment, meeting, or event shows on your calendar

  1. Open the all-day appointment, meeting, or event.

  2. On the ribbon, use the options drop-down that shows Free, Working Elsewhere, Tentative, Busy, or Away.

    Image for Status

  3. Change the status to Busy and your slots on Bookings with me for that day will disappear.

Tip: When you create a new meeting/appointment by selecting specific time range, your status defaults to Busy, so the slot will not show in Bookings with me.
