Category colors that you've set on calendar events in your Microsoft 365 account in Outlook for Windows, Outlook for Mac, or Outlook on the web show in Outlook for iOS in all your calendar views.
How do I turn on category colors in Outlook for iOS?
Category colors appear in Outlook for iOS when you've applied categories to your calendar events in another version of Outlook: Outlook for Windows, Outlook for Mac, or Outlook on the web. To learn how, see Assign a color category to a calendar event in Outlook.
Can I edit or apply category colors to events in Outlook for iOS?
No. You can apply categories to email messages in Outlook for iOS, but not to calendar events. To apply a category to a new or existing event, use Outlook for Windows, Outlook for Mac, or Outlook on the web.
I updated a category color in Outlook for Windows, Outlook for Mac, or Outlook on the web, but I don't see the change in Outlook for iOS.
Restart the Outlook app. The updated color should then appear.
Where do I find my category color label?
Tap an event that has a category applied, and then expand the Show More section to see the label.
