For classic Outlook, double-click a message to open it in a new window, then select anywhere in the Subject line.

Press Ctrl+A to select the whole line, then type a new subject line.

When you're done, select
 Save, or press Ctrl+S.

In new Outlook, open the message whose subject line you want to change.Â

In the subject line, click and drag to highlight the words you want to change.
