Applies ToMicrosoft Stream Stream on SharePoint

Use your device's camera to create a new screen recording in Stream web app. 

  1. Go to stream.office.com

  2. On the + New video recording button near the top left of the screen, select the down arrow to open a drop-down menu

  3. Select New screen recording This will open the camera.

  4. Select the Options button

  5. In the Options menu, select Settings

  6. Choose your camera and microphone

  7. When you're ready to record, select Start screen recording

  8. A pop-up box will ask you to choose which part of your screen you want to share:

    1. Your entire screen

    2. An application window

    3. A Microsoft Edge tab

Select the option you want and then select the Share button.

Before recording starts, the camera will count down from three. Once recording begins, a progress bar will appear along the bottom of the screen.  To finish recording, select Pause. You'll then have the option to:

  1. Re-record

  2. Trim your recording and delete or re-order clips

  3. Save your recording and upload it to OneDrive for Business

To save your recording and upload it to OneDrive:

  1. Select the Upload button from the bottom-right of the screen

  2. Choose the location you want to save the recording to

  3. Select Upload
