  1. Open a new slide, and on the Home tab, select Layout and choose Blank.

  2. On the Insert tab, select Pictures, then choose where you want to insert your pictures from.

  3. Select the pictures you want, then select Insert or Open. All the images are added to your slide.

  4. The Designer pane appears on the right side of the window, and it offers layout suggestions. Click any suggestion to apply it to your slide. (At the bottom of the pane, you can also select See more Design Ideas, then scroll downward to see the additional suggestions that are generated there.)

(If the Designer pane does not automatically appear, you or an admin may have turned it off. On the Home tab, at the right end, select Designer to open it.)

Tip: Another option, after step 3, is to select the Picture Format tab, then select Picture Layout. On the menu of picture layout options, point to an option to see an on-slide preview of how it would arrange the pictures on your slide. Some of the options include [Text] placeholders that you can use to add captions. Select an option to apply the layout to your pictures and slide. (If you don't want text in your collage, avoid the options that include [Text], or delete them after you choose a layout.)
