Create a presentation

You can create a presentation with a predesigned template.

1. On the File tab, select New.

2. In the Search gallery, enter keywords describing the type of presentation you want to create.

Tip: You can also download and customize a predesigned PowerPoint presentation templates.

1. On the File menu, select New from Template or press shift+⌘+P.

2. In the Search box near the upper right corner, enter keywords describing the type of presentation you want to create.

1. Browse the built-in templates on the PowerPoint home page. Select any template to open it in PowerPoint for the web.

2. To see more options, go to the lower right of that home page and select Explore more templates.

3. Select an item in the gallery to see a preview and description.

4. If the template you choose is supported by PowerPoint for the web, select    Customize in PowerPoint to open the presentation directly in PowerPoint.

   A new presentation file opens.
