SharePoint in Microsoft 365
  1. On the SharePoint start page, select  Create site.

  2. Choose the type of site you want:

    • Team site: Private space for team members to collaborate on files and projects.

    • Communication site: A place to share announcements and other info with viewers, visitors

  3. Enter the desired name and description.

  4. Select a sensitivity level, then select a default language. 

  5. Add owners and members, then select Finish.

Tip: A modern SharePoint site is created and ready for use within seconds. If you selected a team site, a Microsoft 365 group is also created. You can customize the look of your site once its been created.
