Create a team

Select a different account.

You have multiple accounts

Choose the account you want to sign in with.

Important: You must have permissions to create a team. If you can't create a team, contact your IT admin. Or you Create a channel.

On the left side of the app, select Teams .
At the top of your teams pane, select Join or create a team.
Select Create team and choose to create from scratch, a group or another team, or from a template.

Follow the prompts to customize, choose Private or Public, and naming the team.

Note: Choose Private new team button Private or Public new team button Public carefully, once a team is created, this can't be changed.
