Cropping isn't currently available; however, you can try this workaround:

Select a blank area of the page to make sure the picture isn't selected.

On your keyboard, press the Windows logo key
+Shift+S. -
When the screen dims, drag a selection over just the part of the image that you want to keep.

Click where you want the screen clipping to appear and press Ctrl+V to paste it.
If the result looks good, you can delete the original picture from your notes.
Tip: To resize an image, select it and drag the lower-right handle.

Right-click the image and select
Crop. -
Drag the crop marks to crop the image and then select Crop.

On the Insert tab, select Screenshot and choose Screen Clipping. Capture the part of the image you want to keep. The clipping is saved on your desktop so you can insert the image and delete the original.

Save the image, use your favorite photo-editing app to crop it, and then insert it into OneNote.
