Pop-up blockers must be disabled for Microsoft Lync Web App communications software to work correctly. To disable pop-up blocking, follow the procedure below for your browser or tool .

Note: Some computer security programs and Internet Service Providers (ISPs) also provide pop-up blocking. Refer to their documentation for instructions on disabling pop-up blocking.
Internet Explorer

Open Internet Explorer.

Click Tools, click Pop-up Blocker, and then click Turn Off Pop-up Blocker.
Safari

Open Safari.

On the Safari menu, clear the Block Pop-Up Windows check box.
Yahoo! Toolbar

Open Yahoo.

On the Pop-up Blocker menu, clear the Enable Pop-up Blocker check box.
Google Toolbar
To disable pop-up blocking on the Google Toolbar and use Lync Web App, you must close the toolbar. It is not sufficient to just turn off the pop-up blocker.

Right-click the toolbar, and then clear the Google check box.
MSN Toolbar

Click the down arrow next to Pop-Ups Blocked, and then click Allow Pop-ups.
AOL Toolbar

Click the pop-up blocker icon so that it says Allowed.
Mozilla Firefox

Open Firefox.

Click Tools, and then click Options.

At the top of the options window, click Content.

Clear the Block Pop-up windows check box.

Pop-Up Stopper

In the notifications area, right-click the Pop-Up Stopper icon.
