If you're trying to install a language pack and you get an error message with the code 30054-1011 and the message says, this installation requires a compatible Microsoft Office program installed on your computer, it could be because you don't have Microsoft 365 installed or your version was installed from the Microsoft Store Windows 10 app.
Check if you have Office installed
First check if you have Microsoft 365 installed on your computer. Select Start and search for an app such as Word or Visio. (If you're not sure how to do this, see Can't find Office applications.)
If Microsoft 365 isn't installed you need to install it before you install the language pack or proofing tools.
If you discover Microsoft 365 is installed, check if it was installed using the Microsoft Store app since the Microsoft 365 language packs and proofing tools aren't compatible with this type of installation. To check if you have this type of install the type of install do the following:

Open an Microsoft 365 app and select Account. (If you're doing this from an existing Office file or document, select File > Account,

Under Product information, find the About button and check for the following:
Microsoft Store installations have a Version and Build number, and include the phrase Microsoft Store.
If you have this type of install, you'll need to uninstall it first following the steps below. Once that's done, or you can go ahead with installing Office and then installing the language pack or proofing tools you want.
Uninstall Office installed from the Microsoft Store app

Select Start > Settings > Apps.

Under Apps & Features select the version of Office you want to uninstall.
Note: If you installed an Microsoft 365 suite such as Office Home and Student or you have an Microsoft 365 subscription, search for the suite name. If you bought an individual Microsoft 365 application, such as Word or Visio, search for the application name.

Select Uninstall.
Tip: If you can't uninstall your Microsoft Store installation using Settings in Windows 10, then select the uninstall Office manually using PowerShell below to view those steps.
You only need to do this if you weren't able to uninstall Office using the steps above.
Remove Office

Right-click Start and select Windows PowerShell (Admin).

In the Windows PowerShell window, type the following:
Get-AppxPackage -name “Microsoft.Office.Desktop” | Remove-AppxPackage

Press Enter.
This takes a few minutes. Once it's done, a new command prompt appears.
Verify Office was removed

In the Windows PowerShell window, type the following:
Get-AppxPackage -name “Microsoft.Office.Desktop”

Press Enter.
If only a command prompt appears and no additional information, it means you successfully removed Microsoft 365 and you can close the Windows PowerShell window.
Install or reinstall Office and language pack or proofing tools

Once you uninstall Microsoft 365 or verify you don't have it installed, you'll need to install it following the steps below for your version.
