  1. On the Home tab, select  Find Magnifying glass button Find, or press Ctrl+F.

  2. Type the word you'd like to find, and press Enter to see it highlighted in your document.

Note: As Word is updated, you may see a Search or Navigation pane when selecting Find. Both will highlight and let you navigate to the word in your text.
