Microsoft Whiteboard is accessible on Surface Hubs. You can utilize the standalone Whiteboard app or collaborate during a Microsoft Teams meeting.
Using Whiteboard in a Teams meeting
-
Join the Teams meeting.
-
Select Share content > Microsoft Whiteboard to begin from any of the devices joined to the meeting.
Note: We recommend starting the whiteboard from one of the other devices in the meeting, as this will create a whiteboard on OneDrive storage with added functionality.
Starting a new whiteboard in Surface Hub
-
Tap or select the Whiteboard button on the Start screen.
-
If you want to collaborate or save the board for future use, choose sign in.
Note: If you don’t sign in at the start of the session, you will lose the contents of the board.
Drawing with a pen or finger
If you are using an active pen, you can draw anywhere on the whiteboard to get started. Whiteboard will automatically recognize the pen.
You can also use your finger to draw by tapping the Pen icon in the toolbar.
