In GroupMe you can add or remove members in your existing groups.
Note: If the group is closed, and you are not the creator, you won't be able to add or remove members. Learn more about Closed Groups.
Adding a member to an existing group in GroupMe

In the group chat you want to add people to, tap the group's avatar (profile picture), then tap Members

Tap Add members

Tap the person’s name to add them to the group, then tap Done
Tip: If you have any issues trying to add someone, you can also send the person a share link to join the group.
Removing a member from a group in GroupMe

In the group you want to remove people, tap the group's avatar (profile picture), then tap Members

Tap the person you want to remove, tap Remove from group, then tap Remove again to confirm.
Note: When you remove a user, they will not be able to re-join the group unless someone in the group invites them back in with a share link to join the group.

Tap Add members, then search for the people you want to add by typing in their name, email, or phone number.
