How do I create a calendar event in GroupMe?

Creating an event for your group is easy in GroupMe.

There are two ways to add a calendar event.

  1. In a chat, tap Add an attachment  Attachment button.

  2. Tap View or create events  GroupMe Calendar.

  3. Tap Create New Event.

  4. Fill out the details of the event and tap Done  Done button.

Additionally, you can:

  1. Tap the group or contact’s avatar (profile picture) and then tap Calendar  GroupMe Calendar.

  2. Tap Create event  Add button below scheduled events or at bottom of the screen to create a new event.

  3. Fill out the details of the event and tap Done  Done button.

Note: Only the event creator can edit the event’s details, such as the start and end times, location, reminders for the event, or cancel the event.
