Note: Channel Agent for Teams channels is currently in public preview, and features are likely to change. To learn more about Microsoft's public preview program, see Get early access to new features in Microsoft Teams.

Once you’ve created Channel Agent in a channel, you can also manage the agent's settings to tailor it to your project team’s needs. You can edit settings for some of the agent’s skills and remove the agent from Teams conversations, like meeting chats and group chats.

Only some people can manage Channel Agent’s settings. They need to meet the following requirements:

  • Have a Microsoft 365 Copilot subscription.

  • Be a member of the channel that created the agent.

  • Be allowed by their IT admin to manage Teams apps.
