From a blank cell, selectÂ
 Symbols on the Insert tab and choose  Symbol. -
Choose (normal text) or Calibri in the Font menu, and then enter 2022 in the Character code box at the bottom of the window.

Select Insert, then select Close.Tip: You can also use the Wingdings font with Character code 159.Â

 Symbols on the Insert tab and choose  Symbol. -
If not expanded, select the
 Expand button on the right corner of the gallery. -
Choose Bullets/Stars from the list on the left, choose and double-click a bullet to use.

Close the gallery.
Inserting a bullet character isn't currently possible in Excel for the web. You can, however, insert a bullet character in the Excel desktop app.

To open the desktop app, at the top of the ribbon, select Editing > Open in Desktop App.
