Microsoft Office InfoPath comes with five sample form templates that you can use as is, customize to suit your needs, or review to develop design and layout ideas for your own form templates. Three of these sample form templates are also browser-compatible form templates.

The following table lists the five sample form templates that come with InfoPath.

Organize and summarize a business meeting. Use this form template to list the agenda items, and to record meeting minutes, decisions, and action items.

Status Report

Browser-compatible form template

Track the progress and issues for a team member's projects and assignments. Individual status reports can be combined into a single report so that managers can create one, comprehensive status report for their team.

Travel Request

Browser-compatible form template

Request travel arrangements, such as flights and hotel accommodations, for a business trip.

Customize a sample form template

  1. On the File menu, click Design a Form Template.

  2. Under Open a form template, click Customize a Sample.

  3. Under Customize a Sample, double-click the form template that you want to customize.
