If you've received an error message after trying to insert pictures from your camera into OneNote in Microsoft Teams, you may need to grant OneNote permission to use the camera before trying again.
Do the following:

In Microsoft Teams, click the Settings and more ( " . . . " ) menu button next to your profile picture, and then click Settings.

In the Settings window that opens, click App permissions.

In the list of apps on the right, click OneNote.

Next to the Media (Camera, microphone, speakers) option, click the switch to enable this option.

When the switch has turned green in color, click the X in the upper right corner to close the window.

Click the X in the upper right corner to close the Settings screen and return to Teams.

Return to your OneNote page in Teams, and then select Insert > Picture > From Camera.
Note: If you continue to see an error message that prevents you from inserting a picture from your camera into OneNote in Microsoft Teams, please report the issue by clicking Help > Feedback on the OneNote ribbon.
