Mute a chat

Mute stops sound or text notifications for a chat. 

1. On the left, select  Chat and select the chat you want to mute.

2. Select the ellipsis () next to the chat and choose  Mute. To unmute, repeat this step and select Unmute. 

To see all muted chats, select   More Filters at the top of the list and choose Muted.

Tip: Muted chats are still visible in the Chat pane. To hide it, see Hide a chat.
